Joe Gaither, CLU


 

Joe Gaither is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Benefit Consultants, Inc., a Sacramento based Section 125 Administrator. Joe is also Vice President of a related company, COBRA Plus Administrators, Inc. He has been involved in the employee benefit field for over 35 years.
He founded one of the first pension administrative companies in California and was involved in the life insurance business for many years. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and is a past instructor of the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program.


Sharol Gaither



Sharol Gaither is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Benefit Consultants, Inc. She was involved in the pension administration field as a consultant and administrator prior to joining Pacific Benefits in 1990. She is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Sacramento Human Resource Management Association.


James E. Deyo III, MBA



Jim Deyo is a Principal for Pacific Benefits and President/CEO of a related company, COBRA Plus Administrators, Inc. He has been involved in the employee benefits field since 1976 and joined this firm in 1990. He previously held positions as a Benefits Manager for an international company with over 16,000 employees, a Regional Claims Manager for a Third Party Administrator, and a Consultant and Benefits Software Designer for a national benefits consulting firm. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Sacramento and Silicon Valley Health Underwriters Association and a previous instructor of the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program. In addition to his business background, he served in the USAF and the Air Force Reserves for over 28 years as a Department of Defense Flight Instructor and a Wing Operations Planner.

 

Mimi Lyon

Mimi Lyon is Vice President of Operations for Pacific Benefit Consultants. She has a background in marketing, finance, and human resources. Her many duties include building core relationships with clients, brokers, and vendors. Mimi provides consultation and tailors Cafeteria Plans, Health Savings Accounts, and Transportation Plans specific to client needs. Working side by side with brokers, she serves as a communication liaison between brokers and clients. With careful selection of vendors, Mimi manages negotiations and contracts. Mimi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Management at California State University, Sacramento. Her professional affiliations include Sacramento, California, and National Associations of Health Underwriters. She is also a member of the Employee Benefits Institute of America and human resources chapters. Prior to joining the civilian and corporate industries, Mimi served in the United States Marine Corps working in personnel, and inventory operations. Mimi is native of Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, playing golf, hiking, ski trips, traveling, and assisting organizations on mainland and Hawaii.
